JAMMU, Aug 10: The State Board of School Education (BOSE) has postponed Class 11th examinations, which were scheduled to be held from August 12 to August 16.
According to Joint Secretary Examination V R Sharma, Terminal-1 exams of regular and Terminal- 2 exams of private students of Class 11th in Winter Zone, which were scheduled to be held on August 12, 14 and 16, have been postponed keeping in view of the prevailing situation aftermath Kishtwar violence.
While fresh dates for the postponed exams will be issued later on, the examinations on August 17 and onwards will be held as per schedule, he added.
Meanwhile, the Jammu University is also likely to postpone the examinations scheduled to be held on August 12.
The scheduled PGDCA exam on Monday has been postponed while a formal decision on other examinations will be taken tomorrow, sources said.
