Jammu, Nov 24: In an urgent Executive Committee meeting Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS), under the chairmanship of Vikram Gour decided to launch an extensive membership drive to involve all residents of Trikuta Nagar in the welfare activities of TNWS.
The members pointed out that there are a number of unattended problems of Trikuta Nagar including cleanliness and repair of lanes and drains, dumping and removal of garbage, repair of by-lanes and roads, taming of three ‘Barsati- Nallahs’ passing right through Trikuta Nagar and removal garbage dumped on these Nallahs that is a health Hazard for the residents, safety and security of the residents, absence of foot-paths on the main central road with extremely uncontrolled and un-managed heavy traffic, large scale unauthorized/authorized conversion of residential houses into commercial establishments/ hotels creating problems for residents etc.
The members felt that these problems could not be solved without all residents getting together and speaking in one voice.
