JAMMU, Dec 17: A three storied cloth shop was gutted in fire at Khilone Wali Gali, falling under the jurisdiction of City police station.
As per police sources, a three-storied cloth shop owned by Sanjeev Kohli caught fire in Khilone Wali Gali late tonight.
After getting information, police team led by SDPO City Perbeet Singh Parihar rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire fighters along with five fire tenders rushed to the spot and started operation to douse the flames.
After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control and saved from spreading the fire to other adjacent buildings.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
A case in this regard has been registered at City police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind the fire.
