He asked “does not Islam say that poor weak and persecuted should be protected and helped so why they are being subject to atrocities in these countries. No Muslim nation of the world has condemned the atrocities on minorities in these countries. The Christian nations who have not welcomed their own persecuted Christian refugees but India has done so. Certain sections of Muslims like Mohajirs Ahmediyas etc are also persecuted in these States but they will be given citizenship on case to case basis provided they are genuine refugees and not criminals and such like, he added.
He refuted that Savarkar had given the two nation theory and alleged it was Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who accepted two nation theory of Ali Mohammed Jinnah that resulted into the division of country. He said since 1946 various ethnicities in Pakistan like Pashtuns and Baloch said “we do not want Pakistan’’.
He said that during his visit to Kashmir he had said that the terrorism will die its death after 15 years as it was based on lies and it has no legs to stand on. The terrorism is on its last legs now, he added.
“I met many Kashmiri leaders and asked them about what benefits they find out a separate flag or Constitution or Article 370. The agitation against CAA has no human values and it is meant to instill fear mongering in minorities’’, he added.
Major General (retd) SK Sharma, president FANS JK Chapter welcomed the guests who had come from all over the country and abroad. There were over 300 delegates, academicians, senior Defence officers and officers from judiciary besides all other prominent streams.
Gaurav Jamwal on behalf of the Organising Committee welcomed the guests. The session opened with recitation of Vande Mataram.
Golok Bihari Rai organisation secretary FANS made the inaugural address.
Dr Nirmal Singh in his address said that Governments follow and work upon the initiatives taken by the society. He said that Pakistan had no basis of creation other than religion and ultimately it has emerged as a rogue State and its future is shaky. The disintegration of Pakistan will have an impact upon our country and so this is a matter to be mulled over in this conference. Jinnah probably wanted a Pakistan accepting all sections of society, minorities and all. Joginder Nath Mandal was first Law Minister of Pakistan but disillusioned by what Pakistan had become later he left Pakistan and came to India. India has a role in future of Pakistan and towards this CAA is a good step taken by Government, he added.
Lt Gen R N Singh national president, FANS in his address spoke about the importance of FANS in making youth and ladies aware of the national security. He said “we are discussing Pakistan but next gathering will be about China as they have made their base in every important nation of the world and especially the choke points along the world routes’’.
