JAMMU, Jan 28: Thieves decamped with two motorcycles, scooty and cash from different areas of the Jammu district.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by Anil Kumar, son of Satpal of Lower Ragoora with Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu stating that some unknown persons decamped with his Royal Enfield motorcycle.
Meanwhile, complaints were lodged by Sanjeev Khajuria, son of Babu Ram of Ragoora and Prem Choudhary, son of Baldev Singh of Shastri Nagar with Police Station Gandhi Nagar regarding theft of their motorcycle and scooty respectively.
In another incident, a complaint was lodged by a man namely Veer Ji Mattoo, son of Shambu Nath Mattoo of Anand Nagar Bohri with Police Station Domana regarding theft of Rs 20,000 from his general store shot.
Acting over the complaints, case under relevant sections have been registered at Bagh-e-Bahu, Domana and Gandhi Nagar Police Stations and hunt has been launched to nab the thieves.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
