Thieves decamp with cash, goods from shop

SAMBA, Apr 15: Thieves strike a Manyari shop near the Main Chowk here late last night and decamped with cash and other goods from the shop.
Shopkeeper Mohit Pargal, resident of Border Road, Samba, has said that he had closed the shop on Sunday night and went to his home. As soon as he reached to his shop in the morning, he found that the goods were scattered inside the shop. So the thieves had entered the shop from the window built on the roof and ran away with cash and other goods from the shop. After getting information police reached the spot, took stock of the situation, registered a case and started investigation.
The local shopkeepers said that this shop is on the Main Chowk and the police personnel, patrol on this portion of NH even then the thieves have attacked this shop. They requested the police officials to increase the patrolling of police personnel during night time so that the thieves can be caught as soon as possible. They said that if the situation is like this at the Main Chowk then what would be the condition at other places.
