JAMMU, Mar 20: Thieves decamped with cash and gold ornaments from two houses in Akhnoor.
As per police sources, Shiv Ram, son of late Behari Lal of Parsoti tehsil Maira Mandrian and Lohri Ram, son of Barita Ram of Sunaila, tehsil Akhnoor lodged complaints with police station Akhnoor stating that some unidentified persons barged into their houses and decamped with cash and gold ornaments.
Acting over the complaints, cases under FIR Numbers 53/17 and 54/17 under Section 454 and 380 RPC have been registered at Akhnoor police station and manhunt has been launched to arrest the thieves.
