BHADERWAH, May 27: Thieves looted the ornaments from the historical and oldest temple situated in the Bhaderwah Fort here.
As per police sources, burglars barged in the temple at Bhaderwah Fort and decamped with gold nose ring (nath) of Kali Mata idol.
The theft was noticed by temple priest, who informed President Sanatan Dharam Sabha Ashok Kotwal about the incident.
Later, Kotwal informed the police about the episode and police team led by SDPO Bhaderwah Sajjad Khan alongwith the SHO Bhaderwah Bandeshwar Singh Manhas reached the spot and assured Mr Kotwal that a police post will be installed for the protection of the temple. A case in this regard has also been registered and manhunt launched to nab the thieves.
