JAMMU, May 27: Seven persons were injured today in separate road accidents in City and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, two bike-borne teenagers were injured when their speeding two-wheeler (bearing registration No JK02BD-4762) hit the divider near Nandni. The mishap occurred when the boys were travelling towards Udhamur to Jammu. The injured boys have been identified as Adish Sharma son of Vijay Sharma of Kacchi Chawani and Mohit Verma (15) son of Rakesh Verma of Peer Mitha.
A couple was also injured when the bike it was going on was hit by a car at Morlian Morh, Miran Sahib. The couple has been identified as Jaspal Singh (40) son of Punjab Singh of Simbal Camp and his wife Ranjeet Kour.
In Kothe area of RS Pura, a car hit a bike and injured its rider Surinder Kour (45) son of Jodh Singh of Kothe and his pillion rider Parlad (22) son of Baldev of Bihar (at present Kothe, RS Pura).
An unidentified male was also hit and injured by an unknown vehicle at Miran sahib area of city outskirts.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
