RAJOURI, June 6: Some thieves barged into a shop and decamped with currency-note garlands and other items, in Thanamandi town of district Rajouri last night.
A police spokesman said that some unknown thieves broke opened the shop of one Mohd Shabir, son of Sannaullah, located near Tehsil office complex, at Thanamandi last night. They decamped with currency-note garlands worth Rs 25,000 and some other items including stationary, cigarettes etc. He was also doing tailoring job at the shop.
Shabir came to know about the theft in the morning and lodged report with police. Thanamandi police registered a case and started investigation.
