JAMMU, June 18: As an education empowerment tool for the children of Gujjar and Bakkerwal communities, Army has come out with an innovative and effective system of temporary schools to mitigate the requirement of providing education to their children keeping in view, the nature of their livelihood.
Such a temporary school for the affected children of marginalized communities of Bakkerwal and Gujjar community has been made functional at Mori and Waomal locations of Khairi Tehsil of Ramban district from June 17 with mid day meal facility. Necessary books and stationary items will also be distributed to the students by Army.
