JAMMU, July 4: A teenager girl allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Nandpur area, falling under the jurisdiction of Arnia police station.
As per reports, 17-year-old Dolly Saini, daughter of Prem Singh, a resident of Nandpur, Arnia allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence yesterday.
Finding her unconscious, family members rushed her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where she failed to respond to the treatment and breathed her last late night.
The body has been handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Arnia police station and investigation started.
