JAMMU, July 4: BJYM has criticized the Congress Ministers for not visiting the Jammu Airport to receive Prime Minister Narendra Modi and showing any courtesy to visit holy town of Katra to join the inauguration of Katra -Udhampur rail track by him.
It was not Narendra Modi but the Prime Minister of India whom they have to give respect and honour by receiving at airport, said Ravinder Raina, State president BJYM.
Condemning the style of functioning of the coalition, Raina said this shows the arrogance of the Coalition Ministers who have not learned any lesson from their humiliating defeat in just concluded Lok Sabha elections.
Raina while taking a serious exception to the behaviour of the Coalition Ministers said this has never been done in the BJP ruled States and whenever the former PM Dr Manmohan Singh visited these States he was accorded a rousing reception by entire Council of Ministers in these States.
Raina said this way the Congress shown that how low the party can swoop. He said at least the Deputy Chief Minister was supposed to be present at Airport or at Katra Railway Station during the inaugural ceremony which he deliberately skipped.
