JAMMU, Aug 17: A teenaged boy was found hanging at a house in Chinore area of city outskirts.
“The deceased was identified as Mukesh Singh (age about 16), son of Sukhdev Singh, resident of Ramban,” police sources said. They said the boy was found hanging this morning at a house in Chinore, where he was presently living as a care taker of an ailing lady.
Sources said that the house where the body was found hanging belongs to an Assistant Professor of a reputed institution in Katra. They informed that the boy used to take care of ailing mother of the Assistant Professor and at the same time study in a school at Gurha Brahmana.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection at police post Chinore,” sources added.
