JAMMU, Aug 17: Prominent Dogri and Hindi poet Ashok Sharma Vashisht and Dr Anita Sharma have been appointed as J&K vice-president and general secretary, respectively of Rashtriya Kavi Sangam, an all India level body of litterateurs and poets under the patronage of Indresh Kumar and others.
The appointments were made on the recommendation of J&K unit president Dr Vinay Chouhan and incharge Sarvesh Mishra.
Having 33 branches in various parts of the country, Rashtriya Kavi Sangam has been organizing patriotic and national awakening programmes through literary and poetic events.
