It’s very unfortunate that our teachers are facing very tough time, and it isn’t nowadays, it has been happening for very long time. Teachers are called builder of nation, is this the way we respect them, and is this the manner we support them to build our nation, they are unable to concentrate on their work and that directly impacts the fundamental education of our children. I am amazed that teachers are still able to perform their duties and they always try their best so children do not suffer, I have seen that some teachers were not getting their salaries for months, I was very astonished when I heard that some teachers haven’t received salaries for four months in a row, how can one be without salary for months without any other source of income, this is total injustice with them they have bank loans, they have to pay different kind of fees, and they have a lot of other expenses, I spoke to a few teachers they told me they are unable to manage things properly, and everything is falling off, they are losing their hope in system, they said, they are paying late fee, financial charges and a lot of other charges because they are unable to pay their bank loan installments in time, and some of them said me they are even on the mercy of local shopkeepers who lend them different everyday necessary items, some are borrowing money from relatives, this is so unfair.
I am just asking to the concerned authorities who is going to compensate for their loss, frustration, time, bank loans, interest on salaries, and for the mental and physical trauma they are getting through because of authorities’ shortcomings, when they don’t pay bank installment in time they have to pay late fee and financial charges, so what about Government who is unable to pay teacher’s salaries in time, does government compensate for that.
Now some people in government come up with different vague standards , now after ten years they want to check the capabilities of teacher, what went wrong at the time of selection, why didn’t they followed the criteria that time this is totally insane , we trust the system of government, and we never expect such kind of irresponsible behavior from anybody, today this is about a group of teachers , and day isn’t far when system will start doing such corrupt behavior with other employees as well. This is a wakeup call for everybody else, let’s be collaborated and let’s raise our voice for justice.
