JAMMU, Jan 28: A meeting of Samajik Vikas Sansthan (SVS) was held here today under the chairmanship of Kuldeep Raina its chairman to take the stock of the various projects undertaken by the Sansthan for the welfare of mankind.
The meeting also discussed the new projects to be taken up in hand for 2014-15. The meeting said that at holy shrine of Vichar Nag Srinagar the Sansthan has renovated three houses for pilgrims. The holy spring which has become defunct during the turmoil and the temple has also been renovated fully. The houses have been thrown open for pilgrims as well as the patients coming from far flung areas including Ladakh region for treatment at Soura Medical Institute.
The meeting among others was attended by S L Bhan vice chairman, M K Pandita, Vinay Koul and A K Bhat.
