Sunil visits bereaved families at Thumb, Shwas villages

KISHTWAR, Dec 31: Minister of state for Transport (independent charge), R&B, RDD and Panchayti Raj, Agricultural Production and YSS, Sunil Kumar Sharma immediately visited the families of deceased persons who lost their lives in a tragic accident at Padder area.
The Minister was accompanied by State general secretary, Minority Morcha, Tariq Hussain Keen. Sharma provided a relief amount of Rs 20,000 to each family and directed DC Kishtwar to release an amount of Rs 50,000 per family from Red Cross fund.
Sharma offered condolences to the bereaved families with profound grief and assured every kind of help and support from the Government.
Meanwhile, the Minister directed the concerned Road developing authorities to complete the road within a time bound manner and that too on standard measured laid for maintenance to avoid any kind of mishap again.
“We are working for all weather roads across the State keeping in mind the necessity and priority of far flung areas”, he said and appealed people to cooperate for the cause of development rather than getting involved in creating unnecessary hurdles for the development programmes, especially roads, which in turn invite incidents.
