JAMMU, Apr 22: As per notification issued by Divisional Commissioner, Jammu the summer working hours in the State Government Offices and educational institutions located in various districts of Jammu Division have been changed with effect from May 1 to September 30, 2013.
The timing in Jammu, Udhampur, Rajouri, Samba, Reasi, Kathua Districts (except tehsil Bani) will be from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. In tehsil Bani the timing will be between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Government offices and educational institutions. In Poonch District, timing will be between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Government offices and 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM in educational institutions.
In Ramban District (except Ramban Tehsil and Niabat Batote of tehsil Ramban) the time will be from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. whereas in Ramban Tehsil Government offices will function between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and education institution between 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM whereas in Niabat Batote, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
In Doda, Kishtwar (except tehsil Doda) the working hours will be between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for both Government offices as well as educational institutions whereas in tehsil Doda, the timing will be between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Government offices and 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM in educational institutions.
