SAMBA, Nov 22: Bar Association held elections under the chairmanship of Advocate Deepak Sharma.
In the election, 76 per cent votes were cast i.e 57 out of 75.
Subash Singh Sambyal has been elected as President, Bar Association Samba by getting 27 votes out of 57. His opponent Sudershan Khanmotra got just 3 votes.
Sukesh Sharma has been elected as general secretary as he got 35 votes out of 57. He defeated his rival Jatinder Sharma alias Jatin by 13 votes.
Sonal Vaid has been elected as cashier of Association as he got 42 votes out of 57 votes. He defeated his rival by 27 votes.
Vijay Verma has been elected as joint secretary as he got 29 votes and defeated his rival by one vote.
Raman Chalotra was declared as vice president unopposed.
