DODA, July 3: The students of Government UPS Ziani in Zone Bhagwah along with their parents held protest against Government and Education Department for their failure to provide adequate teaching staff.
A large number of students pursuing their education in Government UPS Ziani assembled at Ziani here today and raised slogans in favour of their demands. The demonstrators also took out protest rally. Click here to watch video
“Around 100 students study in this institution and only 4 teachers are available to them. Two posts of teachers are lying vacant”, said protesting students.
The protesting students said due to shortage of teachers their precious time is being wasted. They said whenever they met the educational authorities they assured them of doing the needful but they do nothing.
“On one side the Government is claiming that it will provide proper education to children especially of rural area but on the grounds, their claim has been proved false and fake”, said one of the parents while talking to media persons.
The protestors appealed to DC Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode and higher authorities in the Education Department to provide required staff in the institution, so that their students don’t get affected.
When contacted Chief Education Officer (CEO) Doda told the Excelsior that 4 teachers are available in the institution, but there is shortage of two teachers, which will be fulfilled very soon.
