RAMBAN, Mar 22: A class-9th student has been injured due to fall into 40 feet deep gorge near Karawa area, falling under the jurisdiction of Banihal Police Station, a police official said.
The victim has been identified as Ruqaya Jaan, daughter of Abdul Gani Rather, a resident of Karawa, official said, adding that the girl was heading towards her school, when she fell down after falling unconscious.
The girl has been rushed to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Banihal, where she was responding to the treatment, when last reports came in.
Banihal police has taken cognizance in this regard.
