JAMMU, Nov 15: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta today said that a wave of change has been witnessed across the country as people have realised that their future and welfare lies in strengthening BJP and contributing in nation building under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Kavinder was addressing a party meeting here, today in which dozens of Congress leaders impressed by the policies and programme of BJP under the leadership of Puran Chand joined the party in his presence at Preet Nagar Digiana, Ward No 45.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that the Congress members are quitting the grand old party as there is no future of the party, while the BJP has a strong leadership and a bright future.
“I feel there is a serious lack of leadership in the Congress while the BJP has very strong leadership. It is obvious that people are attracted to strong leadership. There is no future of Congress while BJP has a bright future,” the senior BJP leader said.
Kavinder said that everybody has seen the vision, love and concern of the BJP for the country so in every nook and corner of India large number of people are joining BJP. He added that the Congress workers are resigning because they lost faith in their leadership and are joining the BJP because they believe that party is doing the right thing for every citizen of India.
Asserting that the nation has scaled new heights of development and seen the welfare of all sections of society in the last six years, Kavinder said PM Modi and the BJP have won hearts of the people in the country.
The senior BJP leader emphasized “We have to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for the development of the Union Territory.”
Kavinder greeted the new entrants and expressed faith that their joining will further strengthen the development process in the region. He asked them to work sincerely along the party lines and assured them of full support in public welfare activities.
