Stolen goods, 2 bikes recovered; two arrested

RAJOURI, Dec 16: Working out a case of burglary in Manjakote, local police here today arrested two persons involved in a case of theft of electronic items from an electronic store.
A police spokesman said that a case of burglary has been worked out by a team of Manjakote Police Station and items stolen from a store of electrical appliances were recovered.
He said that a written application was submitted at the Police Station by the owner of electronic items store that during the intervening night of December 7 and 8, some unknown persons entered the electrical appliances shop at main market Manjakote and stolen some items from there.
On this complaint, a case in FIR No. 167/2021 under sections 457, 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Manjakote and a team of police headed by SHO Manjakote, Harmohinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO Manjakote Tanveer Jeelani started investigation into the matter.
The investigation team gathered some inputs that stolen items are kept by accused in the house of Makhan Din alias Makhna, son of Noor Hussain, resident of Hayatpura, Manjakote which was on rent for some outsiders and during search stolen items were recovered.
The recovered stolen items include two batteries (250 mAH,165 mAH), two water geysers, two stabilizers, five hotplates, ten bundles of wires and 150 LED lights.
The two suspects were zeroed in by police during investigation and have been arrested for the crime.
They are identified as Mohd Rizwan, son of Zamurad, resident of Hayatpura in Manjakote and Abdul Rehman, son of Mohd Hussain, a resident of Dhanore in Rajouri.
During their questioning, two motorcycles were also recovered from their possession which they had stolen earlier.
