State Departments to complete RDAs by April 30

The important question is whether the Departments will respond by complying with the directives of the General Administration Department looking to adopting of casual approach experienced very often in such matters. Regular Departmental Action (RDA) and inquiries and DPCs by April 30 followed by The Action Taken Report is required to be perused by the Chief Secretary.
The issue of the allegations by and representations received from some employees that the DPCs were deliberately being delayed has been looked into by the General Administration Department and hence the directives. The recommendations of the Anti Corruption Bureau or Crime Branch either for sanctioning prosecution or instituting a Regular Departmental Action in respect of the identified employee involved in acts of gross misconduct like corruption and irregular practices, cannot be kept in suspended animation.
It looks vague that resorting to Enquiry Committees or Enquiry Commission like delaying tactics were conspicuous of aborting the real purpose and intention of avoiding serious departmental enquiry in accordance with the rules followed or preceded by sanctioning of prosecution. The views and findings of the ACB and the CB of the Police should be seen acted upon either way -sanctioning prosecution or instituting an RDA. It is to be seen as to whether the Departments concerned would do as required or not, but before or by April 30 which shall be monitored by us.
