SSH bags best public hospital award in PMJAY/SEHAT Scheme implementation

JAMMU, Sept 23: Super Speciality Hospital (SSH) Jammu has bagged best public hospital award in implementation of Ayushman Bharat PMJAY and SEHAT schemes.
The award was received by Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, Dr Manoj Chalotra from guests of honour–Deputy Director Schemes Dr Seema Gupta and Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Jammu Dr Satish Sharma in a function organized at the office of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Jammu.
Besides SSH Jammu, Triveni Nursing Home located at Gandhi Nagar (Jammu) bagged best private hospital award. Block Medical Officer Bishnah Dr Rakesh Magotra and other team members comprising of DEOs and VLE’S, and Shaveta Sharma (an employee of CMO office Jammu) were also awarded for their excellent work in Ayushman Bharat scheme.
Dr Seema Gupta, while speaking on the occasion, lauded the tireless efforts of Health team of District Jammu and motivated the entire team to work with zeal in achieving the desired target.
Earlier, CMO Jammu Dr JP Singh presented the achievements of District Jammu in Ayushman Bharat scheme. Dr Singh emphasized on extending complete benefit of Ayushman Bharat to common masses, thereby achieving vision of universal health coverage in district Jammu.
