SRCC starts IAS Prelims, Mains test series

JAMMU, Nov 11: SR College of Competitions (SRCC) has started comprehensive test series for upcoming IAS Preliminary and Mains examinations with sole aim to prepare civil services aspirants.
As per the schedule, the total number of tests in the preliminary examination shall be 33 including those five basic NCERTs, 12 Sectional and eight other applied (full length) as also eight CSAT.
Similarly, those appearing in Mains examination shall undergo around 20 such preparatory tests. The schedule of tests will include eight module wise and an equal number of full length. In all, there shall be two essay papers in as many languages.
“To cover all the civil services aspirants under new arrangements and prospects in the Union Territory, SRCC has evolved a strategy to touch each and every student seeking coaching from this institution. The College has also planned workshops for those looking for guidance and counselling and in this direction a workshop was also organised by the college,” informed Centre Head of SRCC, Praful Sharma.
Meanwhile, the SRCC conducted interview classes to prepare those who have qualified Mains examination of J&K Public Service Commission (JKPSC).
“We have started with interview classes which will be followed by the mock interviews and guidance sessions by a team of experts. The exercise shall continue for around a month,” said Praful Sharma.
