JAMMU, Mar 26: J&K Dharmarth Trust has said that special prayers and Aarti are being performed in temples on Navratras.
In a statement issued here today, Trustees of J&K Dharmarth Trust expressed hope and prayed that the festival would become the harbinger of harmony, brotherhood, amity, peace, progress and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
Taking appropriate action on account of in view of the gravity of the situation arising out of the global outbreak of COVID-19, Dharmarth Trust J&K has ordered closure of all the temples and shrines for visitors till lockdown is in force.
“However, the management and Pujaris are continuing with the traditional rituals, prayers and Aarti of the Deities in the temples coming under the realms of Dharmarth Trust”, the Trustees said.
