SRINAGAR: The State Legislative Assembly Speaker Kavinder Gupta today said this House condemned the militant attack on BSF convoy that left three personnel dead and five others wounded in at Bijbehara in south Kashmir.
As soon as the House met to take the first question of the day, BJP Members, demanded that the House should condemn Pakistan for yesterdays militant attack in south Kashmir. On this the Speaker said “this House condemns the incident.”
Independent MLA from Langate in the frontier district of Kupwara Er Seikh Abdul Rashid said, “They are non-state subjects, what about the killing of state subjects in security force firing. This led to heated exchange of words between BJP and Er Rashid for some time.
However, the BJP Members said Pakistani militant activities have increased for last couple of days. Later, the Question-Hour was taken up smoothly. (AGENCIES)
