Soz asks cc not to observe strike on Nov 27

BARAMULLA, Nov 24: Former Union Minister and Pradesh Congress Committee president Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz has advised the Coordination Committee not to go on strike on November 27 at Baramulla town as their demands will be addressed on priority.
During public meet at Dak Bungalow here today, Prof Soz accompanied by Minister for Housing and Horticulture Raman Bhalla and MLC G N Monga, suggested the Coordination Committee members not to observe strike on November 27 for fulfillment of their demands in respect of Mother Child hospital at Baramulla besides provision of street lights in the town and setting up of a Health Centre in the old town etc. He assured them that he would join them for fulfillment of these demands but this could be done democratically rather than through an agitation.
Prof Soz also addressed a rally at Khanpora Baramulla and sanctioned funds out of his MP LAD for fencing of grave yard and link road between Khanpora and Harander. He informed the gathering that their demands in respect of drinking water and footbridge over river Jhelum have already been met.
