Socio-economic condition in border belt worst: NC

RAJOURI, Nov 6: Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) has expressed serious concern over the worsening socio-economic condition of the people living in the border areas of Nowshera.
This was observed by him while addressing a party meeting at Nowshera, here today.
The senior National Conference leader accused the Bharatiya Janata Party Govt at the centre of creating hype about the so called ‘Rozgar Mela’ and making tall claims of solving the unemployment through this programme. He asserted that the reality remains that ‘Rozgar Mela’ turned out to be a total eye wash to befool the youth.
Rattan Lal Gupta asserted that framing meticulously formulated policies for the border area youth like Nowshera is the dire need of today to bring these youth out of despair and frustration that has resulted due to the dark and bleak future sensed by them. He asked the Central Government as well as the Jammu and Kashmir Administration to come out with a proactive and result oriented policy for the youth of the border belt so that they no more feel to be ignored.
The Provincial President made a fervent appeal to the people to support and strengthen the party so that it comes to power in the state and implements its agenda of equitable development.
