JAMMU, June 3: Senior Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) leader and Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Sobat Ali of Ward number 74 here today started road blacktopping work at Sainik Colony Extension in Sector-C (Haji Colony).
The work of road blacktopping was a long pending demand of the people of the area which has been started today.
Speaking on the occasion the Councillor said that other works of the Ward shall also be taken up and will be completed soon so that people may get all the facilities of a developed city.
Sobat Ali asked the people of his Ward to avoid throwing garbage here and there and cooperate with JMC in maintaining cleanliness in the Ward.
He also said that JMC is planning more facilities for the people of Jammu.
The DPAP leader also said that people of the Ward should freely visit him in case they face any problem regarding sanitation and other related issues.
PWD JE Ch Amir Sohail, JMC team, locals of the area including Dr. Parmodh Baru, Haji Wali Mohd, Pawan Suri, Bachiter Singh, Anil Bhatia, Nek Mohd, Fazal, Sachin Verma and others were also present on the occasion.
