JAMMU, Sept 5: Flydex Automobiles Pvt Ltd, a startup funded by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Technology Business Incubation Centre (SMVDU-TBIC), was awarded with 3rd prize among the top 20 startups shortlisted from 112 entries in Green Energy Category at Rural Innovators Startup Conclave (RISC 2018).
The Rural Innovators Startup Conclave (RISC 2018) was jointly organized by National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Hyderabad and Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.
The conclave was inaugurated by Vice-President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu. Akash Srivastava, a Mechanical Engineer and SMVDU Alumni, Founding Director of Flydex Automobiles, participated in the Startup category along with Vivek Kumar Patel, Director and Aravind Singh, Marketing Head of the Startup.
Notably, Flydex Automobiles Pvt Ltd has filed 6 patents on the related technology, and it deals in highly efficient Internal Combustion Engines and other automobile solutions.
