Annual Machail Mata yatra concludes

KISHTWAR, Sept 5: The annual Machail Mata yatra concluded today.
As per official records, 2,26,725 pilgrims paid obeisance at the revered shrine of Chandi Mata at Machail since commencement of the yatra from July 25.
A total of 97,286 males, 83,680 females, 45,612 children and 147 sadhus paid obeisance at Machail Mata shrine during the annual pilgrimage.
Elaborative security arrangements were made by the district administration for the smooth conduct of the yatra. Locals also arranged langars, drinking water and other facilities for the pilgrims during the annual pilgrimage.
