JAMMU, Sept 20: In first of its kind in Jammu and Kashmir, two doctors from SMVD Narayana Super Speciality Hospital, Katra, launched a YouTube channel for cancer awareness.
Dr Vikas Roshan, Senior Consultant Radiation Oncology and Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo, a Medical Officer in the hospital have come up with a YouTube channel namely “Oncofacts”.
“The main aim of the channel is to create awareness and teach people regarding various aspects of cancer”, said Dr Vikas Roshan while talking to Daily Excelsior.
“We would be going holistically in a series of sessions and cover each and every type of cancer of various organs in the body and by now we have started with the cancers of Gastrointestinal tract”, said Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo.
To ensure effective feedback and redressal of queries from the people regarding the videos displayed on the channel, an email id has been created for the same – oncofacts@gmail.com.
