JAMMU, July 2: The Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) today conducted Combined Entrance Test (CET) – 2017 for admission to the professional undergraduate courses.
Common Entrance Test-2017 was held at three centres, viz; Chatha and R S Pura campus of University, and at Government MAM College, Jammu. The entrance test passed off successfully.
Prof Pradeep K Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST Jammu, visited the test centers to oversee the conductance of CET and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made for the entrance test.
According to Dr V Kaul, Controller, Examination Cell of the University, a total of 2,388 students had applied for three undergraduate programmes, i.e., BV Sc & AH, B Sc (Hons.) Agriculture and B Sc (Hons.) Biotechnology, out of which 1,326 (56 percent ) were females. The attendance in the CET held today was 82 percent.
