SKMPM discusses demands

JAMMU, Apr 9: Save Kashmir Migrant Property Movement (SKMPM) held a meeting under the chairman of its president Vijay Raina and general secretary Vijay Koul Budgami and  discussed their demands.
The demands  were regarding Migrants Distress Sales Act 1997 be fully implemented, encroached land owners are badly suffering due to negative attitude and response of local administration and State Government. They said Chief Minister, Revenue Minister, Chief Secretary were approached for redressal of the problems but neither any response was given  nor any solution was found so far.
They said fake sale deeds have been made to grab and encroach property of the migrants, fake sale deeds of dead people were made, illegal mutation have been made, compensation for crops, fruits and illegally cut fruit yielded trees be paid from 1090 to till date to suffers, land restoration, land eviction, correction of names and other up to date revenue initiatives be immediately taken to preserve land/property of the migrants in Kashmir.
The meeting warned to hold demonstration on April 13.
