JAMMU, Jan 5: Six persons of two families were injured today in a clash in village Sarora in Marh area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, two families including ladies and gents engaged in a scuffle this morning over a minor dispute occurred last night between their children, in which one of the boys had got injured.
He said that members of both the families exchange heated arguments and attacked each other with lathies and stones. “In the clash, six persons got injured. They are identified as Kuldeep Raj (28) son of Puta Ram, Munni Devi (60) wife of Putta Ram, Neki Devi (36) wife of Mast Ram, Kala Ram (60) son of Thoru Ram, Ajay Kumar (30) son of Kala Ram and Anku (19) son of Mast Ram, all residents of Sarora”, he added.
The official said all the injured were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment while a case in this connection was registered and investigations started.
