Pampore, Dec 12: Six entrepreneurs trained by Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) have been nominated for an all-India startup business competition sponsored by TATA in collaboration with National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN).
A spokesperson of EDI claimed the winners of the contest will get angel investors to finance their ventures.
The nominated JKEDI startups include DepRel Building Solutions owned by Syed Abrar of Anantnag, and Zargar Brothers owned by Farooq Ahmad of Kulgam, Discover Kashmir owned by Sajad Kralyari, Aalam Automobiles owned by Mir Rukhsana, Rock Nation Films by Wajahat Rafiq and IAC Software Solutions of Waleed Ahmad Qureshi-all from Srinagar.
