JAMMU, Nov 18: The Science Wing of the State Institute of Education (SIE) Jammu today organized a Science Quiz Competition.
Nine teams of the various districts of Jammu Division participated in the competition. The Quiz Competition was inaugurated by chief guest, HR Pakhroo, Joint Director, Trainings.
Rajinder Kumar, Puneet Thukral and Suresh Gouria acted as Quiz Masters in the competition while Shashi Paul maintained the scores of the participating teams.
The first prize in the competition was bagged by the team of Government High School, Ghambir Brahmana, District Rajouri, comprising Aisha Sheikh, Sarfraz Ahmed and Akshay Sharma.
The 2nd prize went to team of New Convent Institute, Banihal comprising Kashif Fareed and Basit Jameel while the 3rd prize was bagged by team of Sant Mela Ji Public School, District Poonch, comprising Jaspreet Singh and Intkhab Ahmed.
Mementoes were awarded to the winning teams by the chief guest. Certificates of participations were also awarded to the other participating students.
