Shrine Board holds workshop at Bhawan

KATRA, Feb 12: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) organised a workshop-cum-seminar on the topic “Awareness in Personal Hygiene, Sanitation and Cleanliness in our Daily Life in Context with Social, Economical, Psychological and Environmental aspects” at Bhawan today.
Dr. Mandeep K. Bhandari, Chief Executive Officer, SMVDSB, informed that 100 employees of the Shrine Board posted at Bhawan and in the adjoining areas participated in this workshop-cum-seminar in which Abhishek Kumar Sharma, a volunteer, who is currently on an all India tour on his bicycle to extend awareness about Swachh Bharat Mission, was the main speaker.
Dr. Bhandari said that Sharma shared his experiences and educated the employees of the Shrine Board in various aspects of maintaining personal hygiene and keeping the environment neat and clean. Sandeep Kumar, Tehsildar Bhawan, Onkar Singh, Manager Bhawan and other officers and staff of the Shrine Board were present during the seminar.
Sharma, who started his all India tour on bicycle from Uttar Pradesh in November last year, has been touring different parts of the country and extending awareness about Swachh Bharat Mission by delivering lectures and interacting with students in various educational institutions on the importance of personal hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness.
