JAMMU, June 11: Jhajjar Kotli Police arrested a shopkeeper and a trucker along with illegal iron rods.
As per police sources, a trucker identified as Faquir Chand, son of Rattan Chand of Badhole Ramnagar District Udhampur was selling iron rods illegally to a shopkeeper at Roun Domail area.
On getting information, a team from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli rushed to the spot and arrested both the shopkeeper and trucker along with illegal iron road.
The arrested shopkeeper was identified as Mohammad Sageer, son of Ayub Mohammad of Palli Tehsil Dansal District Jammu.
The consignment was booked by a shopkeeper at Ramnagar in District Udhampur, but the trucker was selling the iron rods to shopkeeper at Roun Domail illegally.
A case under FIR Number 101/2021 under Sections 411 and 407 IPC has been registered against the arrested trucker and shopkeeper and investigation started.
