JAMMU, Sept 13: A shobha yatra was organised today in connection with culmination of week long “Sapath Path” at Chandi Mata Mandir, Lower Roop Nagar.
The yatra passed through lower Roop Nagar, Muthi, sector 1 and 2 and culminated at Chandi Mata temple.
Thousands of devotees escorted the yatra as they were of the belief that moving with the holy yatra will washed out all their since which will help them in attaining salvation.
A langer was also organized for the devotees after the “Puran Ahuti” and accomplishment of Yatra.
Earlier, during seven day long programme, Pawan Shastri, delivered spiritual lecture and hymns.
The organizing committee members were Satpaul Lakhotra, Gujari Lal Khajuria and Mamta Khajuria.
