Shiv Sena protest against inflation

JAMMU, July 10: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray, J&K unit here today staged a protest demonstration against sky rocketing oil prices and inflation.
The party activists led by its J&K president, Manish Sahni said J&K has joined the Club of States and UTs where petrol price has reached Rs. 100 per litre mark.
Terming the people as inflation warriors the protesters flayed the government for utter failure on all fronts.
Sahni said that replacement of Ministers for Health, Education and Employment in Union cabinet itself proves that Modi government has failed to make efforts to provide relief to the common people.
He said that petrol and diesel prices are at all-time high while LPG prices have doubled in last 7 years and prices of vegetables, fruits, edible oils, pulses, eggs and other essentials are touching the sky.
Women Wing president of Shiv Sena, Meenakshi Chibber; general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; secretary, Praveen Gupta; youth leader, Binny Mahajan; Rajesh Handa, Balbir Singh, Meena Devi, Raj Kumari, Geeta Lakhotra, Dimple, Rajat, Raj Kumari, Parveen Kumar and others were also present in the protest.
