JAMMU, Dec 4: When the prices of onions are increasing with each passing day, J&K unit of Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray here today distributed onions @ Rs. 40 per kg to give relief to the common people.
Speaking on the occasion, Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni said, he expected that the Lieutenant Governor would take some steps so that public gets relief from the increasing prices of essential commodities but unfortunately nothing like that has happened so far.
He also said that the Government should not test the patience of public.
Sahni appealed to the people to observe Jammu shutdown on December 7.
Shiv Sena Vice President, Surjit Singh Chib, General Secretary, Vikas Bakshi, Bhuri Singh, Sanjeev Sudan, Champa Chanjotra, Arjun Kumar, Chanchal Kumar and Bodhraj were also present on the occasion.
