JAMMU, Sept 20: Former Minister, Sham Choudhary and Chairman Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Baldev Singh Billawaria kick started the work of lane and drain in Gangyal area of Gandhi Nagar constituency today.
Sham Chaudhary while speaking on the occasion said that the BJP Government has done development work to give a new direction to the country and the J&K during its tenure. The main objective of the BJP is to ensure the development of every region equally with complete sincerity and the BJP Government has worked for the last man of the last mile.
He said the way the Chairman JMC Billawaria is doing development related work for the people of Ward is commendable. He said that ever since the BJP took over the reigns of Municipal Corporation, the development work has accelerated.
Chairman JMC, Baldev Singh Billawaria said that the work of these lanes and drains started today will cost Rs 25 lakh. He said that as a representative of the people, every promise made to the people is being fulfilled and the smallest street in the area is being constructed. He said that crores of development works are to be done in Gangyal in the coming time and the area will emerge as a modern ward. Billawaria said that the agenda of the BJP is development and that they are true soldiers of the BJP can never leave this agenda behind. He asked people to follow all administrative guidelines on COVID-19 and to keep the surroundings clean with homes in their area amid the growing outbreak of the Corona epidemic. Harbans Chaudhary, Jyoti Prakash Sharma, Rakesh Sangral, Ranjit Singh, Raj Singh Randhawa, Sunny Sharma, Sanju Bhau, Surjit Kumar, Mulkh Raj, Abhinandan Sharma, Balwan Singh, Om Nath, Hardeep Singh and Kawaljit Singh (Sheru) were also present on the occasion.
