KISHTWAR, Aug 26: State Forest Corporation Employees’ Union (SFCEU), Chenab Valley, today highlighted their demands in its meeting held here today under the chairmanship of MA Akhoon, senior member of the Union.
The meeting discussed various demands of the employees like release of pending DA installments/6th Pay Commission arrears/DA and COLA arrears, pensionary benefits, implementation of time bound promotion in the light of Government Order No 140 of 2017, timely disbursement of salaries and disbursement of salaries of the employees of the SFC on deputation to Government forest Department on the principle of equal work equal wages.
The speakers also discussed in length the reorganization of the union. The participants finally appealed the Forest Minister, Choudhary Lal Singh, to fulfill the demands of the employees in the upcoming Board of directors’ meeting on top priority.
