DODA, May 2: The seven day basic course for Scout Masters and Guide Captains organized by Bharat Scouts & Guides J&K concluded here today.
In concluding ceremony Vishesh Paul Mahajan, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda was chief guest; Abdul Qayoom, SSP Doda was guest of honour and Wg Cdr M.M Joshi, National Commissioner Bharat Scouts & Guides was special guest.
A total of 74 teachers from various schools of Doda participated in this course.
In the concluding ceremony a beautiful camp fire programme was organized. A well prepared cultural programme was also presented which was appreciated by all the dignitaries and audience who attended the event.
The participating teachers in the course were imparted training by R.P Kotwal and his team under the guidance of Wg Cdr M.M Joshi and H.L Dogra, State Treasurer, Bharat Scouts & Guide.
Leader of the Course, R.P Kotwal imparted training under Bharat Scouts & Guides basic teachers training programme which included first aid, camp setting, drill marching etc.
DDC Doda lauded the efforts of Bharat Scouts & Guides in providing non-formal education to both teachers and students.
He assured that district administration would provide all kind of support for holding such camps in Doda.
