JAMMU, Sept 12: State BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi, alongwith a large number of party activists and members of various social organizations of Jammu city, distributed relief material in the shape of different items including utensils, flour, rice, sugar, tea bags, salt, oil and even cloths to the needy people in Gujjar Nagar, Goswami Mohalla, Peerkho, Old University lane, Qasim Nagar and Tawi belt areas of old city.
These materials were collected from party activists, local families and different social organizations.
Yudhvir Sethi also interacted with the people of old city whose houses, shops, business units have got damaged in the heavy rains. He appealed the administration that the repair work of damaged roads, lanes, drains should be undertaken at the earliest and it should also be ensured that the epidemic may not break out, which may further exacerbate the situation. He also appealed the NGOs to come forward to help the affected people.
Munish Sharma, Anil Masoom, Ajay Pargal, Rajesh Sharma, Bittu, Govind Sareen, Vishal Kohli, Pankaj Verma and Bharat Sharma accompanied Mr Sethi.
