UDHAMPUR, July 1: Pradesh Youth Congress Committee general secretary RS Pathania has demanded setting up of Degree College at Majalta at the earliest.
Speaking at the meeting of the Youth Congress activists at Majalta today the PYC leader said that it is the popular demand of the people of this area to establish a Degree College here. He pointed out that Majalta is the only tehsil which has no college. He said the 10+2 pass-outs of the area have to shuttle between Majalta-Samba or Udhampur to study in the college. Mr Pathania demanded that a proposed Degree College at Majalta be established at the earliest.
